Changes to the Wasi Cross Country Ski Club Constitution and Bylaws were approved at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 2, 2024. The changes were were mainly driven to be in compliance with Ontario’s Not-For-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA). The biggest changes were focused on:
- The terms of the President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer to be staggered so there is overlap with new appointees(when applicable)
- The change in how nominations to the Board of Directors are made
- Updating the roles and responsibilities of the Directors responsible for Registration, Media, Website, Volunteers and Special Events to better reflect changes in the Club’s social media and online activities
