While the Wasi Ski Club does not offer ski rentals, we are excited to announce a new SNOWSHOE LOANING PROGRAM from the East Ferris Library.
The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit has purchased 18 pairs of snowshoes for people to borrow. Our club does not have the personnel to run this snowshoe loaning program so the East Ferris Library is handling it for us.
You can borrow men’s, women’s, or children’s snowshoes for up to 5 days with your East Ferris Library card. Not a resident of East Ferris? No problem! You can purchase a 3 month seasonal membership from the library for $25. At the end of the 3 months, return to the library for a $20 refund. The East Ferris Library is located at 1257 Village Rd, Astorville, phone 705-752-2042. Their hours are Monday to Thursday from 1:30pm to 8:00pm, and Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
